Just some self reflection/application:
A lot of what I do for a living is geeky and brought to life by layers of code, wifi and open source frameworks. I love it. I am excited about what I do everyday but then I see presentations like this where “experiencing beauty”, “sharing human dignity” and achieving “great work” are all one and the same.
This is extremely blasphemous and universal application of this idea will inevitably bring forth the demise of my industry and my career altogether - but I wish people would get off their freaking computers, phones, devices… what have you and start experiencing human connection in its purist, most transcendent form… face to face.
